“Rapina – A Day with Birds of Prey” is an enriching experience that has been carefully designed for travelers seeking cultural experiences, offering them a close-up look at the practices of falconry, an ancient tradition recognized by UNESCO as a Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. 

In an intimate setting, limited to groups of up to 15 participants, the experience provides access to exclusive areas of Zoo Park Foz, allowing for close interaction with the birds of prey and the professionals who care for them on a daily basis.

Starting at the reception area, visitors are welcomed and guided by the park’s environmental educators and falconers. Next, visitors enter the falconry area—a space with restricted access to the general public, dedicated exclusively to the handling and care of the birds—where, in addition to sharing interesting facts, technical information, and the history of the ancient art of falconry, they also tell a bit about the origins of Zoo Park Foz.
